Video Games have changed throughout time because people have upgraded the games like the graphics, making more pc's and making more games. Video games are still used for leisure time activities. The biggest change has been making a ps4.

Then vs. Now

In the 1950's,60's,70's,and 80's kids would spend their free time activities differently from kids today in the 2000's. For example, according to http://nymag.com/news/features/childhood/e-l-doctorow/ kids would actually go outside, play games with others, and interact with each others.Also, kids back then would go out with friends and go to movies or shows that were all cheap and have a good time.

On the other hand, in the 2000's kids would be on their phone more often, not go outside as much, stay inside more and become lazy and obese. These changes might have occurred due to the fact that more inventions have been made to help people run errands all at once while staying in the comfort of their own home. For example, I stay home on the weekends and watch t.v or play television and stay on my phone all day, without thinking about going outside or hanging out with friends.

The main thing that influences me to eat is the smell of food. the smell of food just calls my name and i always have to go to it and just eat.

My favorite leisure activities are watching television and sleeping.

    I like to watch television because it entertains me when i have nothing to do or when i am bored. I like to watch Sofia the first, Adventure time, Bad Girls club. Some cons of watching television is that I might waste a lot of time and zone out. Also, some other cons of watching television is that i might get blind from watching to much television.

My other favorite leisure activity is sleeping. I like sleeping because it relaxes me and it is just so nice. some bad things about sleeping is that i might over sleep and be late for important things. Also, i can die from over sleeping.

online persona

The person presented in my online persona is an observer. An observer is the person that lurks on other's pages and follows them but never comments. That person is kind of like me because at times i don't comment on what other's say, but other times I comment on every little thing somebody says. My online persona says that i graduated college and work at burger king ( which obviously isn't true ). If someone knew me only through facebook they would think that i am a loner because i post mostly selfies by myself. My online persona some what a reflection of the real me because in social media i don't post a lot of statuses but in real life i do not stop talking.

digital natives against digital immigrants

when some one is a digital native they have a lot of experience with social media and internet. they also have advanced technology like ps4 and plasma screen t.v's. being a digital native can be both a good and bad thing because it allows them to advance in society but it is also a bad thing because one might get too attached with specific websites like Facebook. Digital natives don't have an advantage over digital immigrants because digital natives can find information faster but they might find false information.

Facebook is not as popular as before because it has many bugs that need fixes and because people found a greater interest in other social media websites like instagram. ve ni actually agree with the article because i have noticed that i do not use Facebook as much as i use kik or instgram, i use Facebook to watch videos but i use instagram and kik to post photos and talk to people.

the affect of apps.

The article "A Gossip App Brought My High School to a Halt" ultimately talks about this app called " yik yak" which affected every one one way or another. I believe this article tells a pretty good description of the affect an app has on people and the school. This app had such a large affect on the school people people like to hear bad things about others and ruin their reputations. Students should grow up and stop trying to over power others just to feel superior. Parents should also play a part in there children's life's and make sure they are safe and to make sure there child is not doing anything to harm other's.
